For a split second when the alarm went off at 4:55am this morning, ‘I thought, shall I just stay in bed?’, very glad I got up, what a sunrise!. This is taken on the potato côtil above St Catherine’s bay, I suspect these potatoes are ready, and will be picked later today.

On day 5 of my challenge I took a photo from outside La Braye looking back towards El Tico. This is the image that inspired me to take that shot, I loved the colour and texture in the dune grass. This was a windy morning, and it show a little of how stormy St Ouen can be!!

The end of the pier in Rozel with the sun rising. I took this image last summer on a gorgeous warm morning, very early. I wasn't the only person there, a visitor to the island said hello and promptly went for a swim, it must have been not long after 5:30am.

Back on day 14 I got a super photo of one of the Jersey cows in Grouville, I was keen to post one in colour. They were very obliging this evening, letting me take this shot.

I have always thought this house that looks over La Rocque looked cool, but last night with the burning sunset, it looked very foreboding and eerie. I like the silhouette, and how the colours give the clouds texture.

Blast from the past today, I was walking back from a morning shoot near the Dolman at Ruette de Grantez and I spotted the sheep. I took a few photos, and they all congregated together and started watching me, and I got this lovely shot.

Sand ripples iluminated by pre dawn blue hour glow looking out towards Seymour Tower. At low tide Seymour tower goes out much further than you think and on the morning I took this image, with a full low tide, I had intended to try to make it out to tower and safety platform in the distance. Nearer the shore in between the rocky out crops, the sand forms constantly change with the tide. I didnt’t make it more than 300 ft from the shore, stopping instead to photograph the light illuminating the sand textures.

The super moon on Friday nearing moonset with the sun rising over the lifeboat station and white tower in St Catherine’s Bay. I love the layers in this shot, its one of my favourite parts of the island.

Burning rays of the sunrise break out of the cloud bathing St Catherine’s Bay in golden morning light. This was taken just after yesterdays photo, it really was a cracking sunrise!

Awesome sunrise this morning looking out over St Catherine’s Breakwater, with the sun rays shining out as the sun breaks over the cloud. I really like the textures in the rock and lichen, its very common in Jersey and makes a great foreground.

Such a peaceful, calm and still morning in St Catherine’s bay. Taken on the path that takes you round the bay, looking over Archirondel, such a lovely spot!

Hazy sunrise this morning over the north coast, I love the texture of the bracken and the colour of the gorse flowers against the saturation of the sky.

Fishing at Le Couperon bay at dawn with the tide out. This was taken last May on a lovely clear still morning and clear morning. Clear enough you can easily see France in the distance.

A stormy morning back in early December 2019, waves breaking over the slip way as the sunrise light hits the clouds.

On my walk this evening for exercise, I came across a herd of Jersey cows, happy to pose for me. This lady hung around after the rest mooved away and lost interest, she must have been keen to be included in my challenge.

I had intentions of a great sunset shot this evening, but when I arrived this chap followed me and happily strutted/posed for a few shots. Couldn’t not share!
