My name is Kristian Gorman, and I have lived here in Jersey Since 2005 working as a software engineer. Two years ago, I decided to fulfill an ambition to take up photography. In February of 2019, I started taking my photography more seriously, going out more, and teaching myself more about taking and editing photos.

There is so much to learn, I feel I am scratching the surface. I am hoping that I can share some of that journey.

I have been thinking about creating a website most of the year. I would like to use the site to do several things.

• To showcase my photography here in Jersey in the Channel islands.

• To tell the story of my experiances taking those images.

• To build a resouce of the things I have learned about the locations to shoot landscape photography on the Island.

Its worth pointing out that I am not a writer, so I will be learning in that regard as I go too.

Where is Jersey?

Jersey is one of the Channel Islands that are located in the English Channel near the French coast. It is a small island, measuring only 9 miles wide and 5 miles tall. While small, we are blessed with some beautiful coast line, country side and wild life. We are famous for our cows, their milk and the local finance industry.
